South Dakota Association of County Commissioners

Welcome to Our Association

All of South Dakota's 66 counties are members of the SDACC. Membership consists of entire counties rather than individual office holders. They can be urban, suburban, or rural counties. Their sizes range from Minnehaha County, with a population of more than 197,000 to Jones County, with a population of slightly more than 900 according to the 2020 U.S. Census.
