Cybersecurity Training

Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) & Dakota State University (DSU/SecureSD) are partnering to offer a free Incident Response Plan (IRP) workshop on Friday, November 20, 2026, in Sioux Falls. The workshop will run from 10:00 am – 3:00pm with an hour lunch break at 12:00pm.

An Incident Response Plan is a documented strategy outlining how an organization will detect, respond to, and recover from a cybersecurity attack. It’s a crucial document that clarifies roles, responsibilities, and key activities during a security incident. The plan aims to minimize the impact of breaches, ensure business continuity, and improve overall security posture.

The Incident Response Planning Workshops are designed to help entities create and maintain their IRP.

Session Format

To support full staff participation, each location offers two identical sessions:

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
